Humpty Doo

History

Originally started by the middle point CSIRO farm workers including Scholes, Wickham & Bugg families, The Humpty Doo polocrosse club was incorporated in 1975 as the Zodiac Polocrosse Club.

The club was then renamed Humpty Doo in 1978. Major sponsor in the early days was Neville Skewes of the Humpty Doo Hotel.

The first fields for the club was situated at the Skewes farm, now Marion road, before taking up an invitation from the NT Government to develop a field at the newly established Fred’s Pass Reserve in 1977.

Long standing families such as the Skewes, Walshe, Currington & Coleman families have been the longstanding backbone of the club.

Over the years our commitment has been to the youth of the NT, with great coaches and support teams to see these individuals grow and in turn be productive members of our community.
